Her practice revolves around materiality and techniques, driven by a deep fascination for craftsmanship. She employs an intuitive and practical approach, exploring the boundaries of the chosen material through the use of (un-)conventional techniques.
Gaia aims for a balance between rawness and refinement in the finished product to display the beauty of materials and the process they went through. She is not bonded to one material, but steel is often used in her practice.
